    EMAILALM_I5 vs. Probe Alarms

Before leaving on vacation, I setup the EMAILALM_I5 outlet to send me alarms if certain parameters went out of range. I also have my salinity probe (Salt) setup with with Min and Max alarms in the Advanced tab (they are not the same as my I5 values). Messing around with them, it appears that I will get alarm emails from both the Probe and the I5.

Is the I5 setup needed if you are just monitoring alarms that your probes will pick up?

Use one method or the other, not both. The preferred way is to use the alarm triggered configured on the Inputs - it's easy and no programming statements are needed.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.
