The first outlet on my 8bar is not recognizing anything I'm plugging into it. The plugs slide in and out of it far easier than all the other ports on my 8bar. Any idea what is going on with it?

What do you mean my not recognizing? The apex can't sense what you plug into an outlet. The eb832 can sense current and wattage when something is on in the outlet but can't sense what you plug into it.

I had my Sea Swirl in the slot for about 6 months and everything was fine. Then one day a couple months ago I noticed the sea swirl was stationary. After playing around with a few things I realized the slot had stopped working properly. The sea swirl would turn on randomly for a couple hours and then turn back off. I tried plugging several other things into the slot, but none last longer than a couple hours before it stops working.
Is this a common thing or am I the only one having this issue?
What is the code for the outlet in question? What do you want to happen?

Sea swirls have a very low power draw and probably need to be plugged into #4 or #8 instead. Also, the recommendation for seaswirls is to run them continuously, at least with your pump, and not cycle them on or off as that will prematurely fail the motor. I would recommend you test the outlet with a higher wattage device, such as your return pump. Then test the seaswirl operation by plugging it into outlet No 4.
