    pH Probe False Alarm?

My pH probe is triggering an alarm. The alarm is set to the default values. Here is the message.
    Status: ON
Statement: If pH < 7.80 Then On (8.07)
My pH is reading 8.07 yet it is triggering the low limit alarm. I'm new to this so it could definitely be something that I am misunderstanding.

Try adding a defer of at least a couple seconds to your email alarm. Could have just been a transient spike that turned the email alarm on but was back to normal by the time it sent the email.

I'll look into that. Would that explain continual notifications? I'm getting them every hour.

Probably not if it's continual, but I would add it anyway as it's good practice.

Please post the full email code and make sure the outlet is set to auto.

Here is what I am getting from the Apex via text and email.

    Date: 2017-07-25 10:03:39 -0500
    Status: ON
Statement: If pH < 7.80 Then ON (8.07)

It is being sent every hour. The pH is fluctuating between 8.08 and 8.06.

By outlet set to auto are you referring to the alarm?

I saw a similar issue with a temp alarm that was resolved by turning off alarms and restarting the Apex.

How do I view the alarm code created when I configure the probe? It does not show up in the email alarm output. Basically, I cant figure out where to add the defer...

I am assuming you did tasks instead of the email alarm outlet, which I am not familiar with as I use a classic apex. Russ might know a way to show it.

Problem was solved by turning off the alarm limits and restarting the Apex. Must be a little bug.
