    Alk Dosing with Aqua Lifter

I have figured out that the aqua lifter I have doses 30mL over 7 seconds, or roughly 260ml/minute.

I want to dose 30mL at 7:00AM and 7:00PM, with pH cutoff at 8.4. The code that was generated is below, but doesn't seem correct to me. I think it would be dosing all 60mL at one period.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 000:00/000:14/719:46 Then ON
If Time 19:00 to 06:59 Then OFF
If pH > 8.40 Then OFF

Perhaps this is the correct code?

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 000:00/000:07/719:53 Then ON
If pH > 8.40 Then OFF

    You want

    OSC 420:00/000:07/299:53 Then ON

If you want 7am and 7pm.

With that said save yourself the headache and order a BRS 1.1ml/min doser to replace the aqualifter. You will go through bladders like crazy in the aqualifter and it will not remain consistent.

That makes sense, I knew I was missing something.

I appreciate the tip, I will get myself the BRS pump. Once received, will the new code be (assuming the 1.1mL volume is correct):

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 420:00/000:27/299:33 Then ON
If pH > 8.40 Then OFF

    You show 1.1ml/second it's 1.1ml/min.

With the lower flow rate and better accuracy you can do much smaller doses spread hourly for better alk stabilization.

Use this tool Russ made for the BRS pump. https://www.reeftronics.net/adpg/dosingcalc.php

Just realized the 1.1mL is per minute:

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 420:00/027:00/273:00 Then ON
If pH > 8.40 Then OFF

Thank you, I will go back to the calculator.
