WAVs with smaller impellers for smaller tanks?

I read somewhere there will be new, smaller impellers for decreased flow in smaller tanks? I've heard WAVs are too powerful on lowest setting even for 3 foot tanks. Are they coming?

What was said is only that the possibility of smaller or otherwise different impeller with lower flow was being looked into. It was not announced that such an impeller would be produced.

Lots of people are using WAVs on smaller mid-sized tanks. Perhaps not on max speed, but WAVs are definitely usable on a 3ft tank. There's many variables involved, such as placement of the pump, angling the pump mount, etc.
