    Smooth out temp graph?

Is there a way to smooth out my Temp graph?

    Fallback OFF
If Temp < 77.5 Then ON
If Temp > 78.0 Then OFF

    Two ways

    1. Use two smaller heaters instead of one big one and either have one heater 0.1 degrees higher in the set point or have them each run half the day with another line that turns both on if temp drops too much. This will slow down the changes so your heater cycles less

    2. Narrow the temperature band to make temp more consistent. This will cause your heater to cycle more often though.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

So for me to do option 1 I'll need another energy bar. Which I was planning on getting eventually. I have the 2016 model, would you recommend an EB8 or EB832 for a second one?

Depends on what else you might want in the future. The eb832 costs $100 more but has individual amps and watts monitoring, 3 1link ports, and 2 24V acc ports. If those extra features are something you will use later or you value them more than $100 eb832 is the way to go.
