    Problems with Radions through WXM

    I'm running a 2016 Apex with single energy bar, WXM, AFS(when needed), BOB.

    The WXM controls 2x Radion XR30 Pro lights as well as one MP40 Vortech, my WXM is running very basic programs and having issues.

    Firmware
    Apex is 5.02_5A17
    WXM is Rev 1.15, RF Rev 1.2 (1,1,1,1),(1,3,3),(250,0,0)
    Vortech_3_1 - Rev 255.255
    LRadion317 - Rev 2.2.15
    RRadion318 - Rev 2.2.15

    Since I've connected the Radions a few months ago, I have had a problem that on random days, around 6:30pm ET both the lights turn off, then turn back on later in the evening.
    This is not part of my programming. Lights are getting power directly from wall outlet(not plugged into energy bar). I've gone through the whole update firmware, factory reset of the Radions, etc.
    Same issue appears.
    Starting a week ago. At about 4pm every day both my lights now blast full brightness from about 3:45 until 4:54pm(the next program marker). This is also not in the programming and causing algae and causing issues with my livestock.

    Where is your WXM and how far is it from your Radions?

    WXM is in my cabinet under tank with my Apex controller and bus.

    I don't think it's losing connectivity, as when the issue happens, I can still turn lights off from controller.

    there may be other wireless items in the house that could be interfering during those times (I.E. Microwave or something your neighbors are doing, something else on your tank turning on, etc). It might be worth a try to move the wxm a little closer to the radions (even temporarily) and see if it helps.

    I had this same issue when I mounted mine under the tank which btw I feel is a awful idea. I since remounted everything in it's own Cabinet outside the tank and the issue resolved . Only guess is something was causing interference

    I don't think all of my issues are from interference.
    I moved my WXM to within about 2 foot of the Radions temporarily - based on the above post. I have not seen the full brightness issue since(that may have been RF interference), though the lights turning off/very dim still happens at 6:30 ish.
    It looks as though it actually happens at 6:19 pm (which corresponds to this line on my program "tdata 18:19:00,0,0,5,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0") Though it makes no sense to me why they would go out unless it erroneously thinks it should be doing cloud cover.

    I'd like to be able to see realtime logs through an ssh/Telnet session, though I'm not sure how to get realtime debug logging on for the WXM events.

    Tony, there is nothing wrong with the WXM function here - it is doing what it is programmed to do at 18:19. You have that point set to 5% overall intensity, but all of the individual colors are configured for 0 intensity. So the lights will be all dimmed to the point of being off at exactly 18:19 and will slowly start ramping up to the spectrum and intensity you have configured for the 19:40 point. Fix the spectrum (individual color intensities) for the 18:19 point and all should be well.

    Ok, that's not how I interpreted the spectrum intensities. The spectrum is 0 because that is the color setup for "sunset" predefined program(sunset is the beginning of dusk), Overall is at 5%, so the lights are on at 5% intensity of the mix for color specrum setup for sunset. (Just now, I moved the overall intensity to %100, but selected spectrum preset "sunset" {all colors zeroed}, I run the preview and the lights do not go off. the two sets of white lights come on, albeit in a dim reflective sunset looking color tone., If I want to turn it off, no matter the spectrum selection, I have to lower the overall intensity to 0.)

    So if in fact in your point that "sunset" is akin to "off", then something is still not right as my lights do not turn off in that scenario.
