    PMUP with 12V DC

Is it safe running the PMUP with a 12V DC power supply? I suppose it would run slower, but the intention is to use it as an ATO pump for a 10 gallon tank and it does not need a lot of volume.

Do not attempt it. The PMUP requires 24VDC power.

However, it is acceptable to constrict the output of a PMUP, for example, with a 1/4" valve if there's a valid need to do so.
