    Exclamation temperature stuck at 20.5 after changing out base unit

    Help, I replaced the base unit and now the temperature is stuck at 20.5, pH is reading normal. Any suggestion.

    Recalibrate the temp probe.

    20.5 means the temp probe isn't plugged in all the way. Reseat the probe. Calibration has nothing to do with this.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

    This will not help, and will likely make matters worse. You cannot calibrate out a gross error such as this. Calibration is a fine-tuning process.

    As zombie said, a reading of 20.5 may indicate a disconnected or improperly seated probe. It could also be a case of the pins on the probe are corroded with salt, or the wire has been damaged or a few other things.

    If you still have trouble after checking that the probe is fully seated, inspected the pins on the plug, etc, contact Neptune tech support.

    Thanks for all the input, I got it fixed. I had the probe wasn't pushed in all the way
