    WaveMaker options

Hi, I'm new to the Apex scene and just recently bought a used classic. I'm trying to figure out which route I should take on my new 36 cube I just setup. I will use either 2 powerheads or 1 gyre pump. If I go the powerheads and go with tunze do I need the VDM module or is the connector of the main Apex module what I will use? Also if I go w the tunze, I read somewhere that the newer tunze pumps run at a different control voltage and you won't get the same granularity in control as compared to the older models. Is this true? I also thought the gyre pumps were Apex ready, but it looks like you need the ice cap module as well. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated.

The ports built into the apex would work for tunze. I have not heard of tunze using different control than the old ones. The gyre does need an ice cap to be apex controllable.
