    Salinity probe (swings at night)

I've recently added kessil h380 to the sump, which turns on evening time. My chaeto growth is unbelievable, I'm having hard time remove it from the sump it's completely overgrown.
At the same time I've noticed salinity swings at night. What would be the cause of it?

The salinity swings starts same day I've added new light to the sump.

    Please see pictures...

    Does it correlate with temp?

Another thing to check is make sure the cord for the kessil is not running parallel with cond probe wire.

Doesn't look like it, since swings of salinity only happen at night.

    How could I check that?

Look at where the cords physically are. If a power cord is within 2 inches of the conductivity probes wire and parallel (perpendicular is fine) then it can cause interference that will skew measurements.
