    Is my Apex Classic fried?

Had to take everything apart for some new equipment.

Put it all back together, tried to do the update (properly).

Had to unplug/replug unit from EB8, eventually got the message that system was updated.

Plugged everything back in. Suddenly, system kept rebooting.

I've now tried everything. I even did a factory reset, but it didn't change anything. I can't connect to it in any way.

Is there a last resort? A "nuclear option"? I'm tempted to go buy a whole new system.

Also, I'm on a mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the following in this order. If the symptoms persist move to the next step. This is more than likely a corrupted firmware or configuration but it's possible it's bricked.

    1. Redo the firmware update. Update modules as well.

    2. Update the bootloader (from the display go to system->bootloader update. Just press select here. It won't tell you if it did it or not)

    3. Unplug modules and plugs (Ethernet, i/o, varspd, etc) one at a time to see if something in particular is causing the reboots.

    4. Contact support for additional steps they think might help.

    5. Backup your config, take note of module addresses and initialize the controller.

    6. Consider the controller bricked or requiring serious repair.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Thanks. Have done most of these but not all. I currently can't access it via fusion or dashboard. Letting it sit unplugged for a while.
