    DOS and Feed Mode

    Hi all,

I use feed mode D to shut everything down for (up to) 1 hour while I do water changes and other maintenance. I recently added a DOS to my system. If I program it as I have my skimmer, pumps, etc to turn off when feed mode D is active, when it comes back on will it compensate for the missed time in order to still dose the amount of fluids I want over the given time frame?

In other words, if it's supposed to does 240ml over 24 hours, which is 10ml/hr, and I shut it off for an hour, will it make up the missed dose over the other 23 hours?

    Thanks

It will not compensate for missed time.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
