    Temp probe not staying calibrated

My temp probe is not staying calibrated. Moved some stuff around and now i noticed that the temp is off. Would it be good to say the pribe is going bad?

What are you using to check?

I wouldn't be certain then that the apex is wrong. The trutemps are calibrated at boiling (not accurate at lower temps) and the digital thermometer may not be calibrated at all.

The only way to know for sure is to either do a 2 point reference check (boiling and freezing adjusted for elevation) with one or both of your reference thermometers or borrow/purchase an NIST calibrated probe.
