    Variable speed port

I bought the ice cap apex cable to control my reef octopus varios pump. The pump is running at 100% no matter what I set the port at. I put a volt meter on the tip of the plug and get a 10v reading at all percentages. And off I am still getting 10v. I also checked port 2 3 and 4. Any ideas?

I used the wizard to program it.

Do you know you have the right port? So when you slide the switch between "on" and "off" does the pump turn on and off? Is there any kind of programming in the advance window of the outlet? Last, but not least, is the outlet slider in the "Auto" position?

I have the right port. I watch the light on the apex module for vsp1 turn off and on when i change it. But whether it is off or on I am getting 10v. Not matter what. And if I even change it to auto I get the same result.
I also restarted the apex and updated the eb832 just for fun and it had the same result. I may have to call tech support as it is still under warranty.

Do you have any other programming in the Adv. Programming window of that outlet?
