    ATK with solenoid

Hi, i recently bought the ATK but instead of using the pump that comes with it, I want to use the apex solenoide.
Can someone help me on how to program the ATK so that if the water level is high in the reservoir, the solenoide shuts off as also an outlet which commands the RODI pump.

    thanks

Hey bud, I'd be happy to help you with this. I have a few hours atleast I could get you started. But writing out some instructions might take me a while. Someone else here might be able to explain it better than me though

    Hello ...
Can you elaborate a little more?
If you want to control Osmosis directly why do you need an reservoir?

You want to use the selenoid to control the Osmosis if the level is low on the SUMP?

If that is it then it's very simple!

Connect the RODI Pump to APEX, connect the selenoid to the 24v port on ATK.
Now add a optical sensor to the reservoir and connect to port 3 or 4 in the ATK.

    In the RODI Outlet add:
    Fallback Off
    Set Off
If Outlet ATK = OFF then OFF
If <optical sensor> CLOSED then OFF

    In the ATK outlet add:
If <optical sensor> CLOSED then OFF

Now a couple of considerations ....
First, have you heard of TDS creep in Osmosis? it means that the first 5 or so minutes of water should go to trash as it's not pure and you might be adding garbage to you tank water
Second, the continuous on and off of Osmosis will drop the lifespan of the membrane
Third, you should have an additional level sensor in the reservoir to make sure you don't have a flood in case the first top sensor goes bad.
Fourth, I like to have redundancy for the level sensors but also to ATK so I would make 3rd point with a float valve connected to BoB instead of a second optical sensor.

    All the best,
    Rui

    Rui, thanks for your response.
I have a high water tank reservoir, this tank is elevated 2 mts from the floor.
What i want to do with the ATK, is to stop the RODI water PUMP when is in high level so that it doesn't overflow.
Apart from that i want to use the solenoide to shut off the water that enters the RODI equipment.

So far I could only configure the to stop the RODI pump when the reservoir us full.
Here is my configuration of the outlet:

    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
    If Swx10_1 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Swx10_2 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Swx10_1 OPEN Then ON
    If Swx10_2 OPEN Then ON

    Thanks

    Manuel
