Apex (2016) AOS Version 5.03_9C17 Has Been Released

A major AOS (Apex Operating System) update was released today.

This update is for Apex (2016) only.

This release contains:

• Support for the COR-15 and COR-20 pumps
• Network stability enhancements
• Various bug fixes

An AOS release earlier this year introduced one new and one modified programming statement. See this sticky post for full details about the revised If Error statement and the new When statement:

This release has many other changes which will not be readily apparent to you. Mostly, such changes are code optimizations and fixes for less-common bugs.

IMPORTANT: After updating the AOS on your Apex (2016), go to the Module Setup page in either APEX Local or APEX Fusion, and update any module(s) which show OLD in the SWRev column.

Installation of the new Apex (2016) AOS 5.03_9C17 was disabled today due to discovery of an installation issue which did not appear during internal testing and testing by NSI members.

If APEX Local or APEX Fusion show that 5.03_9C17 is still available, please ignore that, and do not attempt to update your Apex; it will go back to showing 5.02_5A17 as the latest available AOS the next time it checks, which happens shortly after the Apex boots and periodically thereafter.

If you have already installed 5.03_9C17, there's no need to update back to 5.02_5A17.
