    PMUP impeller

I have used PMUP as a feeding pump to denitrator. After 3 months, the impeller of PMUP was broken. Is the PMUP really durable? Where can I buy the impeller?

That sucks, but I want to say that you can. the WAV pump has replacement impellers available. I bet the PMUP should too. I did the search for you and did not find a link to one on Neptunes site. Only found the one for the WAV. So, you might need to give the boys at neptune a call and see if you can pick one up online.
Also, make sure the pmup is still good. if it runs dry it tends to inflate the cylinder. This is bad.

Here's a picture. If the cylinder still looks like this than it's good to go. If it looks like it's inflated into a 'ball' roundish shape that's bad. In any case, just to make sure the PMUP is still working.

It is still working because I can hear the noise from impeller area and have water output.

I had the impeller disintegrate on mine after a couple months. Neptune replaced the entire PMUP under warranty since they did not yet have the impellers available separately.

That's good to know! How did you contact them?

    Thank you so much!
By the way how did you use PMUP? Running 24/7?

I am running 24/7 feeding a carbon/GFO canister. So far the replacement has been running fine.

    PMUP quits. mechanical issue?

My PMUP is part of my Neptune ATO Kit. Have it installed about 3 months. Now it is throwing a FMM Error. The pump hums and doesn't pump. I opened the pump and checked it out. Doesn't look to be an issue. put it back together and it pumps. then after the sump is filled and the pump is off it will not restart when the sump is low again, it just hums. I tried this cycle a few times. the pump doesn't feel or look like its binding the impeller. I left a message on the Neptune tech support line.
