    Salinity Probe - fluctuating reads

The salinity probe on my Apex 2016 shows variable measurements changing greatly from min to min triggering alarm (< 32.5). Is that normal?

If you overlay temperature with the SALT probe chart, you'll see a direct correlation between the two. Enable temperature compensation for the Salt probe by entering a starting value of 2.2 in the Temp Comp field in the SALT probe configuration. Observe for at least a full day and see if that Salt chart looks flatter/smoother.
