    Cobalt website info apparently wrong

    Just as an FYI:

I happened to come across a special note for the Neo-Therm heaters on Cobalt Aquatics website. It says:

SPECIAL NOTE for use with Aquarium Controllers:
APEX users: Please be sure to plug your Neo-Therm into plug 4 or 8.

So I got curious and called them and asked why and they said it can be plugged into any outlet. I asked why do you have that note there then. I got no answer.

It’s not really wrong but it is incomplete and a bit outdated. It should say that it applies only to EnergyBar 8 models. Neo-Therms can be used in any outlet of any other model of EnergyBar, including the EB832.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

Just tried to link to the EB8 user manual so OP can see what the actual issue is, but it and all the other Apex user manuals are currently coming up 404 page not found for me. https://www.neptunesystems.com/downl...EB8_manual.pdf

Hopefully just a temporary situation. They might be tweaking the website in anticipation of the Cor.

I see. But it alarmed me so they should correct it.
