    Apex.local ip adress

Lost power today, went back on but my WiFi through apex is slow. Does anyone have the IP address to apex.local so I can reconnect my apex before I leave for work? Sorry don’t have time to research I’m already late for work.

172.16.0.1. Obviously too late to do you any good right now; might jot it down somewhere for future reference.

I'm way out of my league here on networking stuff, but unless he disabled DHCP and has a fixed IP assigned by his router isn't it possible that it changed? IOW, the IP address you listed isn't even close to mine so I'm curious how you know what his is?

I just tried punching that in to my address bar and it came up with nothing.

The 172 is the default for when the apex is creating it's own WiFi hotspot and won't work to connect to apex local for 99% of people.

These are the two easiest ways.

Type apex.local in your browser and replace "apex" with the hostname (if you changed it). This won't work on android.

Use an ip locator such as pea finder for Android.

Oh my mistake, in my (pointless) haste I thought he was talking about a wifi reset. Sorry about that. That Ip address is etched in my memory after an unpleasant network glitch that required me to re-initialize wifi.
