    PH probe calibration is off

After calibrating my PH probe it appears to be off. Reading should be 8.2 and it is reading 8.0. The "should be" readings are from my Red Sea test kit and then my local reef store. Is there a way to adjust the Apex dashboard reading to match?

The only way is to recalibrate. When you do recalibrate, make sure the tip is bubble free while in solution and leave plenty of time to settle (I do about 5 minutes personally).

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Thank you for your response. I did wait quite a long time, probably more than 5 minutes. Shook the probe around after placing in bag with the solution to remove any air. Is there a better way to confirm there are not any air bubbles? Should the probe be placed in the bag or should the solution be placed in a separate container before inserting probe?
