    FMM flow

FMM : So 1 inch flow sensor plumbed in to my 15000 Jebao turned up to just below max and only showing an average of 2296 Ltrs PH. I am not believing these numbers as the flow in the main tank is causing massive turbulence on the surface.

    My display is 890 ltrs

    Any ideas people ? Ta

Is it configured correctly for the sensor type?

Did you actually saved the configuration?

    All the best,
    Rui

Hi yes it’s configured for the 1inch. And yes configuration has been saved.

How far (Head) is it pumping?

Is yours actually configured for LPH? It appears like it's more likely GPH.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

I would agree. I have the same pump with a 1 inch sensor and I'm getting about 790 GPH from it at around the same power levels.

Defiantly configured to LPH. I have a second back up pump running through 20mm on to a 1/2inch and getting over 4000lt measured

Can you run a test into a bucket or something by timing the amount of time it takes to fill and then divide the volume by the time? If so compare that to the reading and if the reading is way off, contact support as you might have a defective sensor. If they match, then your plumbing might need some cleaning and or rerouting, or the Jebao is defective.

I have a VarioS 8 and even at max getting 1300lph through the return. Its a testament to my installers’ startling lack of plumbing knowledge and there are 4 90 degree bends, one 360 degree tube bend and two 30 degree bends! I also tap off flow to a fluidized reactor, carbon reactor and a UV sterilizer. So yeah, I believe the FMM. One day I will strip out the plumbing and do over to avoid the losses.
