Is there a way to config ATK to control a 120v Solenoid Valve

    Hi,

I am using Apex on my freshwater aquarium.
Now, I am setting up an auto water change sys. I want to use this ATK to control the on/off of the water source to reserve sump. The water source is directly from water pipe.

So, I can get a 120v normally off Solenoid Valve on the market. But, I am not sure if I can use this ATK to control it. Since, I know the ATK come with a 24v pump which it suppose to control.

I am thinking of config this ATK model to control the outlet on EB. And then plug the 120v Solenoid Valve to the outlet.

    Is that doable?

    Thanks.

You could plug it into an EB outlet. Just make sure you use 4 or 8 if using a classic EB8. I also highly recommend using either a restrictor or a carbon/sediment filter (preferred) so you limit the flow tp an ampunt that dont crash your tank from large chlorine doses killing your biological filter.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
