    Eb switch failsafe program

One of my eb8 switches got stuck in the on position. Is there any program code that would set OFF my alarm if a switch fails to respond? Besides using a virtual outlet which I would imagine would require one virtual outlet for every switch!

I dont think you can. All of the watts and amps statements are internally modified to not be true when the outlet is off.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Well the switch that is in question that prompted me to ask this is my aqualifter ato outlet got stuck in the on position and dumped a gallon of extra fresh water to my system before I noticed it was stuck. Would the When command help in this case?

The When command will protect you against to the outlet being told to be ON for longer than a set time, which is a nice failsafe. Nothing to my knowledge will alert or protect against a hardware failure that leaves an out stuck ON.
