    Purple light

So, after I powered off and on my APEX it is showing the "purple light of death" :-(

In contact with C/S - so far they have been fast.

Anybody knows if this is a common issue?

Now I actually have to attend to m aquarium for the days to come!! and unfortunate lost some faith in this unit.

    Will keep you all posted

Purple light is not very common. I hear someone mention that maybe once a month on the forums if even that often.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

That is somehow nice to know! I'm very happy worth the system, has been running for almost a year, and I build most of my stuff around this unit.

CS has already promised to send a new unit today :-)

Wow, just thinking about running my dt without the Apex, at this point, gives me the shivers. I know we're all supposed to have 'a plan', and I do, but even so, what a nightmare. Glad that Neptune customer service stepped up and helped you out promptly; that's one bright spot.

Trust me, not funny!! Heater, cooling and temperature and rerun all cables! Not funny at all.
That being said Neptune CS treated this like champs!
