You need to subscribe to an online image hosting service. I recommend imgur. Upload your photos from your phone there. Copy the direct link url for the first photo. Go to the Dashboard. Click on the gear at the lower right of the media window. Click the plus in the upper right corner. Paste your url into the appropriate box, title it if you want, and click OK. Repeat for any additional photos or video streams.

Thanks. I don’t understand why Neptune does not make that simpler.

The one thing I would really like is a batch mode, so you can upload a bunch of photo url's at one time.

Because they don't store the photo on their servers. It's gotta be linked from somewhere.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Is there a size limit on the JPEG file? When I share the link generated by (instagram, dropbox, and google drive) it just shows a small white tile at the top of where the image should be?

Well its 2021 and I found an image hosting with direct links that work. IMGBB 32 MB limit. Direct image links, BBCode and HTML thumbnails.
