Neptune Systems is pleased to announce a significant update to APEX Fusion.

The highlights of this update are:
  • full support for the forthcoming COR pumps
  • new and enhanced Tasks
  • updated settings views for Apex 2016

The full release notes are:

Display Module Tiles

  • Every Apex has two outputs, by default named SndAlm_I6 and SndWrn_I7, which control the alert tones originating from an Apex Display Module; these outputs are meaningful only if a Display Module has been connected to an Apex.
  • If there is no Display Module connected, tiles for these two outputs will no longer be present in the Apex Fusion dashboard or in the dashboard unused tiles bin; if a Display Module is connected, the tiles will appear as new tiles in the unused tile bin.

AOS 4.53 (AB17)

  • AOS 4.53 has exited beta test and is now recommended for production use. The Apex List view will indicate that an update is available if an Apex is running an earlier release, with a link to update instructions.

New Programming Syntax Support

  • This Apex Fusion update includes support for new programming syntax using percentage values and the SPEED keyword introduced in AOS 5.03 AB17 and 4.53 AB17. The COR task has been enhanced to take advantage of this new support.

Calibration Tasks

  • On Apex 2016 systems, new DŌS and probe calibration tasks will now appear in the list of available tasks.

Clock Task

  • On Apex 2016 systems, a clock task will now appear in the list of available tasks.

Revised Settings Views

  • On Apex 2016 systems, the Clock Settings view has been enhanced to simplify choosing the proper timezone, and the Display Settings view has been made easier to use on systems with large numbers of probes or outputs. Both views feature improved help and tours.
  • On Apex 2016 systems, the Misc Settings and Network Settings views have been updated for enhanced appearance and function.

COR

  • This update includes full support for COR pumps

IE

  • A bug which caused the Sign Out function to fail intermittently on Internet Explorer was corrected.
