    Unable to update Display module

I updated to firmware 4.53 AB17 on both my controllers. Was successful updating firmware for 1Link and WXM modules but when I try to update the Display module, I get a "Firmware update will start in 10 seconds. Please wait." message. But after a minute or so, it looks like it times out and does not show any update occurred. This same issue occurs on both my units.

Most likely, the displays listed at addresses 1 and 2 are ghosts - there's no actual module at that address. Probably, the one at address 6 is the real display module, and it does not need to be updated.

Delete all three in the order listed - 1, then 2, then 6. As soon as you delete the one at 6, unplug the display module, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. Then check that Module setup page again; you should only have one display listed, and it should be at address 1.

Ah you are right, 1 & 2 are for virtual outlets. I guess it just makes a copy of the status from the module at the time they are created. I tried updating the firmware for Disp_6 and it reved to 11 so that indeed is the physical one.

These have nothing to do with virtual outlets. Just delete them if you have not done so already.

I could not delete 1 & 2 using the webpage interface. I could delete them using the Display interface. However they still show up in the web interface, they are selectable from the module drop down, but do not load their module page when I select them? Tried multiple browsers so is not a caching issue. So I deleted module 6, but when I reinstall it, it goes back to addr 6.
