My Season table has moonrise at 09:00 and moon set at 21:00, is that correct? Shouldn’t moonrise be at 21:00 and moonset be at 09:00?

The moon is sometimes “up” during the day.

It’s like that for the whole year, from 8-9 for moonrise and 20-21 for moonset.

Those times are only for the day of the new moon. Any other day is modified by 40-50 minutes to correspond with natural moon rise and set times. I'm sure you've noticed in the real world, sometimes the moon is out at night and others during the day. The apex does the same thing.

So I read somewhere that the APEX is using the South China Sea time for the season table. Looking at that calendar, the new moon is on Nov 8 at 12:01 AM, mine has it Nov 7th, close enough. But on the Apex, it’s showing moonrise at 8:59am, not anywhere near 12:01am. Am I looking at it wrong? does the apex use another location for the season table?

If I were to update the table for my location, do I need to update it yearly, or will it continue to shift next year automatically?

Zombie, I am using the programing you posted.

    Set OFF
    If Moon 000/-360 Then Moonrise
    If Moon 360/000 Then Moonset
    If Moon 060/-060 Then ON

But when I look at the log file. Moonrise is running two or three times during they beginning of the moon cycle and the off. Then eventually the programing looks correct looking at the log file.

this only happen in the beginning with moonrise.

is this normal I am missing something

Here is a pic of the log. The pic doesn't show moonset completion with lunactrl off but it happened one hour after moonset just like it should. For whatever reason moonrise run twice. The last two nights moonrise has run twice. Is there something I need to do or fix?

    Does
