I have been using a single OS-1 optical sensor on a magnetic mount and a separate pressure switch as a backup, but would like to replace those with the mount that comes with the ATK: seems less likely to rotate out of position, looks better, and I like the idea of a mechanical backup with the float valve.
I just got an ATK, and unfortunately, attaching the mount below the inner shelf of the plastic rim would require keeping the water level about 1.5 inches below the bottom of the outside trim.
Looking for ideas. Cutting into the rim makes me nervous (standard 55G), and I would like to preserve the stability/look of the mount.
Thanks.
