Can I make my dos dose 1 drip every second?

Kind of. It can't continuously dose any amount perfectly evenly because it has to be off for at least 1/3 of the day to keep the motor cool and can't go any slower than 7mL per minute. What you can do is set it to dose 4300 mL over 24 hours (the equivalent of 1 drop per second) and it will dose 1 minutes worth of drops over 26 seconds, then stay off for 34 seconds and continue that cycle every minute.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Need it to dose 1L over 3 hours or 4 hours at one drip a second

For that, you can set it to dose 1000mL over 4 hours and it will dose roughly 2 drops per second for 36 seconds and rest for 24 seconds each minute.

Yes. It automatically selects the lowest possible dosing rate spreads the dos as slow as possible.
