    Apex FMM ATO

    Hello

im not new to apex but new to this site and not very good when technical things do not work like they say they should out of the box.

recently purchased the above kit after my D and D failed and but 150ltrs of fresh water into my tank.

updated firmware on the FMM but can not seem to get this working even though it’s above the water line.only way I can get it to work is to turn the pump to ON on the apex fusion app.

i have attached a photo of what code apex Has automatically installed

I am assuming that Sw9_1 is a nominal level and Sw9_2 is a safety maximum level. If so, then the ATO will come ON 10 secs after the water has dropped below Sw9_1. Then it will run until 4 secs after reaching the sensor again. Once it shuts OFF, the Min Time command will keep it OFF for 60 minutes regardless of water level. In addition, while filling, if total run time exceeds 5 minutes, then it will shutoff into manual mode and throw the error.

I have just reset the FMM module after taking out the aqua bus cable linking it to apex so now it’s working on stand alone mode.

its seems to be working so when I plug it into apex it does not work ?.

why is this so hard to do

Have you checked for duplicate modules or names? Can you see the status of each switch and is it what you expect it to be?

After connecting the FMM module I had 5 new tiles

    SWX9_1
    SWX9_2
    SWX9_3
    SWX9_4
    then the ATO

wich is now now off because it’s now set up as stand alone

So I now have The FMM module connected back to apex.

the SWX9_1 was in the closed position and the SWX9_2 is in the open position which I believe is correct.

i have now raised SWX9_1 out of the water and the switch went from closed to open meaning apex should tell the pump to turn on but nothing happens

Back to stand alone mode until the morning I believe

It seems the sensors are working correctly, but it will be hard to troubleshoot with the Defer(s), and Min Time statements. They add delays and lockouts. I suspect it is the Min Time that is giving you the problem since it holds the state OFF for an hour. If you are comfortable with the advanced programming mode, then set the Defer(s) and Min Time to 1 second and experiment.

Confirming that you have the pmup plugged into the ACC port on the FMM, and the separate power supply also plugged into the FMM PWR port, even when running under Apex.

Also agree with suggestion to experiment with the code a bit. Here's mine, works great, feel free to try it with your system (with appropriate name modifications.)

    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
    If ATOLo OPEN Then ON
    Defer 002:00 Then ON
    Min Time 030:00 Then OFF
When On > 002:00 Then OFF
If Sal < 33.0 Then OFF
    If ATOHi CLOSED Then OFF
    If LeakRO CLOSED Then OFF
    If RODILo OPEN Then OFF
    If FeedA 000 Then OFF
    If FeedB 000 Then OFF
    If FeedC 000 Then OFF
    If FeedD 000 Then OFF
If Output ReturnPump = OFF Then OFF
If Output LeakDetected = ON Then OFF
    Defer 000:05 Then OFF

Would it be better to take the safety's off get it working then one by one add them till it fails?
