Strange issue with heater controlled by Apex

    Hi All,

I have a strange issue with my Apex. I have an Apex Classic with two energy bars. 1 EB8 and 1 EB4. The EB8 is in the basement with my sump and the EB4 is under my tank. I have two 500 watt heaters in my 180 gallon system. One is in the sump plugged into one of the relay outlets on the EB8 and the other is in an overflow in my tank plugged into the EB4. The heater in the sump works perfectly fine and will come on whenever it is needed. However, the one in the overflow will never come on. I am using the following code:

    Fallback OFF
    If Temp1 < 78.5 Then ON
    If Temp1 > 79.0 Then OFF

This is also the same code I'm using for the heater in the sump that works fine. Is there some sort of limitation I'm not aware of? I've tried 2 out of the 4 outlets on my EB4 to see if I had a bad outlet or extra code somewhere. Very strange.

    Any ideas?

Does the heater work? (have you verified?) Also, are you using the same temp probe?

Yes. The heater works. I'm actually not seeing the outlet get triggered.

Check that the outlet is set to auto. Also, are you using the same temp probe for both heaters?

Yes, same probe. Outlet was set to auto. However, I fixed it. I rebooted the base unit

LOL, I hate to say it, but that was going to be my next suggestion.
