    Innacurate pH reading

Hi all. I am a fairly new Apex (2016) owner. My pH reading is displaying very low, somewhere in the 7.6 to 7.8 range. Multiple other pH testing methods show it around 8.2. I have calibrated the probe several times. Why does this read so much lower than any other pH test, and is there way to get it to show an accurate pH? Thank you all for this helpful forum.

More than likely the probe didn't sit in each solution long enough. I wait 5 min each for mine. Did you check the probe in each solution after calibration to ensure calibration worked?

I did not do that, i just followed along with the automatic calibration screens. Im not totally clear on what you mean- do you insert the probe in the calibration solution and wait 5 minutes before you press "next"?

It's manual calibration. Automatic is finicky and often doesn't settle long enough.
