I recently started using a solenoid on my RO system, but I woke up this morning to an overflow even though both optical sensors were registering water. It seems that my solenoid has a continuous drip even when “off.” I use a BRS 5-stage RODI and it seems to keep a lot of pressure on the line. When the solenoid opens a strong jet of water surges out for a second. Sound normal? Do you think the RODI killed the solenoid? It hasn’t even been in service for two months.
