    SMS Notification

    Hi everyone!

New to Apex, so bare with me please! I am trying to set up sms notifications to my phone but the carrier is not listed. I am with Bell Canada. Is there away to add to list or a work around?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jon!
Thanks for the reply! I looked at the info you sent, but unfortunately it doesn't make much sense to me. I am not that computer literate. LOL I have sent an email to support about it. Thanks for your help!

Use email instead of sms and use these instructions for the email address to use.

"Send a text message from your emailaccount to any Bell mobile phone. AllBell mobile phones have a unique email address: (10-digit mobile phone number)@txt.bell.ca. For example, [email protected]"

Be aware that to make this work I had to put 1 in front of my Canadian number (Rogers) and that Rogers will charge 25 cents per text. Buyer beware .....

It wont if you use your SMS "email address" instead of using a phone number.
