    apex 2016 only has 1 PH connection ?

    apex 2016 see it only has 1 PH connection what do i need for running 2 PH probes just got myself a calcium reactor

    Go to the Inputs page in either Apex Local or Apex Fusion. Select then enable pH2 to change the 2nd BNC port from the default of ORP mode to pH mode.

    You can actually use the ORP connection for a second pH probe. You just have to change to setting on the ORP tile. Second option would be a PM1.

    I see ok it is nice to have ORP would you keep ORP and buy the PM1

    While you can disable ORP that way, disabling ORP does not automatically enable pH2.

    By enabling pH2 as I described, ORP for that port will automatically be disabled.

    I personally would rather have the ORP just for making sure that something isn’t going wrong. A lot of people say it’s useless but over the years of having one it’s a lot easier to spot problem happening. I’d just get a PM1

    If you wish to keep the ORP probe in service, then yes, adding a PM1 to your Apex system is needed.
