    diy led moonlight string?

I had an lsm module offered to me for free and I have some individual moonlight leds that were used in a diy setup I bought and salvaged. Can I use them to make up my own string to plug into the lsm? They appear to be standard 3 watt style cree.
    thanks

Maybe but probably not. The current voltage specs for the moonlight strings are not publicly available so it's impossible to know without testing a string and it's against forum rules to post those results here. You could check Reef Central or other third party forum that doesn't have said restrictions.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
