    Wiring harness jebao powerhead

Hi all I have made a wiring harness for my jebao power head. I followed the instructions on the internet but am baffled as to why it won't work. I will attempt to take a photo if anyone could please see if I have done anything wrong. On my Neptune Apex main unit there is a power socket that hasn't got any additional power plugged into it am I supposed to use or put power into the main unit. I'll try and take a photo of that as well.
    Thanks

You don't have the control pin wired to the voltage divider. You have it soldered to the control wire instead.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Hi so basically just swap the two ethernet wires around. Put the Orange on to the other resistor vice a versa. Am I right in saying.

Nope. You have the point the two resistors are wired to in the wrong spot.

With that said, the way you have it wired up even with that change is likely to short out. The way I do these personally is to do all of the wiring to cables connected to the plug so it's much easier to keep everything shrink wrapped where they can't short.

Thanks for replying and your help. My first attempt I did it all neat and tidy in shrinkwrap. Then things got messy but once I get it going I will tidy things up.
You're not that bloke on YouTube by any chance are you. ?

That's what I was referring to by the wiring to the cables comment.

I'm not on YouTube. That was probably Torx.
