Is is possible to Turn off a 1/2" supply line?

So I have just received the COR 20. It is strong enough to handle all the water supply for my tank. My issue is I have built an upgraded external refugium. My old refugium was a converted ATO that is included with the Red Sea Reefer 250. It was being supplied by a MJ1200. I also have attached a float valve to shut down the MJ 1200 if the water level in the refugium gets to high. Ok so my my question. Do you guys know of anyway I could have a single 1/2" line that is being supplied by the COR 20 to a manifold shut down if the float switch is activated with out shutting down the entire COR 20? I was thinking about the SV-1 Solenoid valve? However it is 1/4" and I am not sure thats the correct application for this Solenoid anyway. Thanks for your time.

The SV1 solenoid isn't rated for saltwater. Using a solenoid would work, but you need one rated for saltwater.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
