Apex classic using fusion. My energy bar outlets seem to default to ADVANCED even after I change them to ALWAYS. Changes are saved but the outlets are always listed as ADVANCED. Any ideas? Thanks.

The "Always" Control Type is a relatively new addition to APEX Fusion, as are the ATO, Return Pump, and Skimmer Control Types. These 4 new Control Types are not understood by Apex Classic firmware, so when the Apex reports configuration data back to Fusion, the data for any outlet configured via Fusion for one of these four Control Types will be sent Fusion as being set to Advanced Control Type. It may seem strange to do it this way, but this way all Apex Classic users can make use of these new Control Types via APEX Fusion without everyone needing to upgrade to newer firmware; in other words, it maintains backwards compatibility with older APEX Classic firmware. All 4 of these newer Control Types create relatively simple programming, so it's fairly easy to understand what the actual resultant programming does as seen in Advanced.

OK. Makes better sense now with that explanation. Thanks again.
