    Alarms disappeared.

    Hi,

I cant find my alarm toggles in Apex Fusion anymore. They seem to have disappeared, anyone know why or how to get them back? They aren't in the hidden tiles section.

You need to update your Classic to the latest firmware.
Unfortunatly that can be a catch 22 as the latest firmware can be buggy for some users...
If you can find it 4.52_5A17 is the before last update that is stable and will restore your alarm outlets.

What type of bugs have been identified with the latest version?

I lost my whole programming so make sure you save your programing while you are apex classic web browser to update the firmware before you do the update. This way you can restore it if something happens with your firmware update.

    Connectivity problems.
FWIW I'm still on 4.52 myself because I just don't want to deal with this issue. I undestand it's only a small subset of users who are affected but I don't have the time to mess with this.

Exactly which “alarm toggles” have disappeared? Is it a case of the two audible alarm (SndWrn and SndAlm) no longer being on the dashboard but the EmailAlm is still there? Do you have a display module?

If you do not have a display module connected to the Apex, those two (SndAlm & SndWrn will be intentionally hidden - this is not a bug - it is a change made in Apex Fusion last year.

Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

    Hi RussM,

I do have a display module connected to one of the expansion units. However, if this isn't a bug I might know what this is. The cable was cut by mistake last year and I had to solder it back together. Perhaps i've not properly soldered it back together? However, the rest of the display works / displays fine.

Updating the firmware restored the alarms.

    Thanks for the assistance.
