    Constant Alarm

I'm a newbie to all this but just recently I am getting an alarm every 30 minutes and its not giving me any information to what it might be. I keep getting -

    Date Status Statement
    " 2018-02-08 09:29:46 -0500 ON Set OFF"

    Any help would be appreciated...
    2018-02-08 09:29:46 -0500 ON Set OFF
    2018-02-08 09:29:46 -0500 ON Set OFF

Turn your EmailAlm to Auto, NOT on.

If you are not using it. Slide it to OFF and reboot the Apex.

I am using it through some of the default probes like heater etc. But in the actual email alert configuration box it is empty.

What are your set points for alarm notifications for your heaters? If your low level is the same as your heater on off statement it could be this?

When outside of range 75-80. If it were heaters the alarm would say heater wouldn't it? Besides the alarm is every hour on the hour. This alarm says nothing about what it is. Just -500

-0500 is part of the finest amp and represents the time zone offset from UTC. It is not a probe value or alarm condition.
vhuanh182 have you the probable solution - properly programming the email alarm outlet - it cannot be blank. Add a Set OFF statement.

I've added a Set OFF statement and so far it looks like its worked. Why there would be an alarm based on UTC is beyond me. Especially since it just started out of the blue. Thanks for the help so far. I really appreciate it.

The alarm timestamp is not based on UTC - the timestamp is the Apex system time; the timezone offset reflects the timezone setting of the Apex. If you are in the same timezone as the Apex, the TZ offset may be of little interest. But for those who travel and may be in a different timezone and are using a device such as a smartphone that automatically adjusts the timezone based on GPS or the cellular carrier, that information is useful.
