I reset a second hand unit and on reset I have loads of feed settings and it magically is showing temp and PH with no attached modules. Why is this?
Extra temp and pH or the base ports? If the former check the modules list in the classic dashboard and delete any ghost modules. If the latter, disable any unused base ports in the probe setup of the classic dashboard.

Ta. So it auto adds feed and base ports if you don’t use them turn them off.
Odd that they preconfigure it all and the eb6 predefining the power for certain uses.
Feeds will always have 4 and those can't be disabled. Just ingnore any you don't program (I only use A and D myself and ignore B and C).
The preconfigured EB6 code is just to give you ideas about how typical devices are programmed (for those who skip the important step of reading the manual). Make any that you don't intend to use advanced type with
