    cut aquabus cable

I need to insert the aquabus cable in a pipe in the wall but the usb connector is to big.
Can I cut the cable and use a netwotk CAT6 cable in the wall?
Is there a connector or I have to weld the wires? How many wires has aquabus cable?
Otherwise can I use an usb over cat5 extender like:

There is a reefer in my local club that spliced the usb type A connectors of an aquabus cable onto the ends of a cat5 cable. so it is doable, but obviously is not official or supported.

You need to avoid those usb over cat5 extenders because they use the 5V from the usb (aquabus) cable to power a repeater which is bad for your apex.

How long do you need it to be? Can you just snake it in the wall?

You can get USB wall plates and wire to those. Then just plug the aquabus in at each end.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
