skimmer shut off solution?

Hi,

I have a Apex 2016 with a Cove IS160 protein skimmer attached to the EB832. I have a float valve switch from a Reef Octopus Varios-6.

I want it to shut off the Cove IS160 protein skimmer when its full. Does anyone know how I can make this happen without shutting off the Reef Octopus return pump?

Can you provide some more detail such as a picture or diagram? I'm not quite following how this is set up.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
