Cor15 and flow meter

Setting up a new 65 gallon tank looking to use a cor15 on. I would like to use the flow monitoring on it. I will be using 1 1/4” for the return. Would I be better using the 2” or 1” flow monitoring? It is quite the price increase to go to 2” flow monitor, is it worth it?

You'll need to consider the effect of a 1" dia section of piping in the overall design of your installation and your target GPH and purpose for the pump.

I'm running the COR-20 in a closed loop, 1.5" inlet, outlet, & bulkheads. Chose a 2" flow monitor, indicated flow is as high as 1850 GPH...above the capability of the 1 in flow meter. This configuration is about as close to the 'best case' condition you can achieve for a pump rated at 2000 gph.
