    DOS and AWC saltwater storage

    Hi,

I am currently using the DOS to do auto water changes and it works the way it is programmed. I also make saltwater in one tub and transfer it to another that is closer to the tank. I heat the saltwater mixing tub and am wondering if I need to heat the storage tank. The DOS changes 1 gallon daily and I would think that the non-heated saltwater would not make a difference in a 100 gallon display tank. The saltwater storage tank does have a powerhead to keep the water moving.

I Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

It helps a little bit, but only for preventing precipitation. The amounts dosed are so small the temp difference doesn't matter for that at all.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
