override AWC schedule? How do I force add NSW?

So I setup the DOS for AWC through the task wizard. I want to use a virtual outlet to force the addition of new saltwater. Is this possible? can I force it to run at the highest speed with a virtual outlet and turn off when a float switch is triggered?

You can with a virtual outlet. This will run at 40ml/min if you use ON otherwise you need to define a profile. Set ExtraNSW to AUTO when you want it to fill up and manual OFF when you dont. Change OPEN to CLOSED if using an optical sensor.

    ExtraNSW
    Set ON
    If Switchname OPEN Then OFF

    DOS advanced tab
    (Existing code)
If Outlet ExtraNSW = ON Then ON

A bit but not a ton. When you use ON, it goes at 40ml/min but doesn't require rest stops. When you use profiles, rest stops are required, so even though the head moved at up to 250ml/min, the max effective speed is only 83ml/min.

There is no 40ml/min rate. You may be thinking of the 40ml volume which is dispensed during DŌS calibration. When manually set to ON, in AUTO and ON under program control, and during DŌS calibration, the DŌS runs at 25ml/min. And even if ON, the DŌS *does* have "rest stops" as you phrased it. If ON for a long-enough period or is ON continuously, the DŌS will dispense 200ml, then stop for a while, then dispense another 200ml, cool down, pump 200ml, etc, with each 200ml-then-pause cycle lasting roughly 30 minutes.

I reiterate what I've said in the past: operate a DŌS under programmatic control only using the Apex Fusion/Apex Local wizard-generated programming (tdata), or using DŌS profiles. One should not use the DŌS in full ON as a normal practice, and one should not use OSC statements directly in DŌS programming. Using ON is fine for an occasional short-term activity such as initial priming of long tubing runs, but (I'll say it again ) ON should not be used in programming for everyday operations.
